Dwyane Wade’s Widely Criticized Miami Heat Statue Gets a Major Makeover

Two years after the original statue was unveiled to widespread criticism, the Miami Heat have revealed an updated version of their tribute to franchise legend Dwyane Wade. The team introduced the new sculpture, known as the 2.0 version, outside Kaseya Center on Friday, October 30. The most noticeable change is Wade’s face, which has been redesigned to more closely resemble the former NBA star.
