The Culture's Feed
Effective August 25, 2026
UNO Entertainment ("UNO Ent," "we," "us," or "our") operates unoent.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
You don't need an account to read UNO Ent. Information we collect includes: information you give us directly (an email address if you join the newsletter, contact us at support@unoent.com, send a story tip, or leave a comment); and technical information collected automatically by our hosts and tools, such as IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, and pages visited.
The Site is served by GitHub Pages, Fastly, and Cloudflare. Those providers keep standard request logs (IP address, user agent, path) for performance and security. Cloudflare also protects email addresses on the Site and may record a country code so we can rotate house ads.
We use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-KNZNCCPT) to run measurement on the Site. That container loads Google Analytics 4. Google may set cookies and collect device and usage data as described in Google's own privacy policy. We use this to understand how the Site is used: which pages are read, where traffic comes from, and how people move through the Site. We do not put the GA4 measurement ID in our page source; it lives inside Tag Manager.
If you sign up for The Culture's Feed newsletter, we send your email address to Klaviyo, our email provider, so we can deliver the list and measure signups. Signup is in the footer and in a first-visit popup. The form includes a consent checkbox. Klaviyo may set its own cookies. You can unsubscribe from any email we send. We also store a flag in your browser (localStorage) so we don't keep showing the signup popup after you join or dismiss it.
Article pages include a "Show Comments" button. Comments are powered by Disqus (shortname unoent). Disqus does not load until you click that button. Once you do, Disqus is a third party and may set cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy.
The Site uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies:
uno_ad_freq (first-party cookie, Path=/, Max-Age 30 days, SameSite=Lax): set by a
Cloudflare worker on HTML responses. It stores impression counts for our house ads (Holly Michelle and
Lemon Negra) so we can rotate them. It is not an ad-network tracking cookie.
Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics 4: measurement cookies set by Google.
Klaviyo: cookies and storage tied to the newsletter, if you interact with signup.
Disqus: cookies only if you click "Show Comments."
UNO Ent local storage (not cookies): uno_theme (light/dark),
uno_cookie_notice_seen (whether you dismissed this notice), and
uno_klaviyo_popup_seen (whether you dismissed or completed the newsletter popup). These
stay on your device and are not sent to us as a login.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies will limit how well we can measure the Site. The cookie banner on the Site points here.
The Site shows first-party house ads and sponsored placements (for example, on the homepage rail:
Holly Michelle, Get Laced, Lemon Negra). Those are our own creative and rel="sponsored"
links. Advertisers get a click, not a tracking pixel on our pages. We list a Google AdSense publisher
ID in ads.txt so we can run Google display advertising later. Third-party ad tags (AdSense, Google
Publisher Tag, or similar) are not on the Site today. When we turn display ads on, this policy will
still apply, and those partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads. We will not pretend the Site
is ad-free.
UNO Ent is a news aggregator. Stories include a short summary and a link to the original reporting. Thumbnails and Open Graph images are often hotlinked from the source (outlets such as HotNewHipHop, TMZ, Yahoo, The Shade Room, Hollywood Unlocked, and VladTV). Those hosts can see the image request. When you click through to a story or a sponsored link, you are on their site and their privacy policy applies. We don't control that. We do not run Facebook, TikTok, X, or Hotjar pixels.
UNO Ent isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@unoent.com and we'll remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Site evolves. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
