Blue Ivy Joins Jay-Z At SoFi After Sharing Stages With Beyoncé
Blue Ivy Carter returned to the stage with her father, Jay-Z, at SoFi Stadium on Friday, October 23, adding another appearance to a performance history that now spans stadium shows with both parents. Blue Ivy showed off impressive skills, playing piano during “The Story of O.J.” and “Dead Presidents.” Scarface, John Legend and DJ Khaled were among the night’s guests as Hov ran through a catalog of hits from his 30-year career, including “Izzo (H.O.V.A.),” “Run This Town,” “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem),” “Dirt off Your Shoulder,” and his New York anthem, “Empire State of Mind.” The Los Angeles stop was part of Jay-Z’s celebration of 30 years since “Reasonable Doubt.” His two-night SoFi run was scheduled for October 23 and October 24, following anniversary shows in New York, London and Paris. Blue Ivy had already joined her father at the keys during that run.
