Yaya Mayweather Ordered To Pay $50M For NBA YoungBoy Stabbing Incident

Yaya Mayweather just got hit with a massive financial reality check over a 2020 stabbing incident that’s been haunting her for years. A Texas judge ordered Floyd Mayweather’s daughter to pay more than $50 million to the woman she stabbed during a fight involving NBA YoungBoy, and the breakdown of that judgment is absolutely brutal. The court awarded Lapattra Jacobs $40.1 million in compensatory damages and added another $10 million in exemplary damages, which means the judge found Yaya’s conduct so egregious that she deserved extra punishment on top of the base award.
