Trey Songz Demands $500K From Promoter Who Canceled His Concert

Trey Songz is taking a Fort Worth concert promoter to court over a deal that fell apart before the show even happened. The R&B star’s production company inked an agreement with promoter Darryl Austin back in April to perform at Will Rogers Auditorium on August 8, but things unraveled fast when payment obligations weren’t met. Austin made the first required payment on time, but then ghosted on the second installment that was due July 8, and instead of stepping up, he asked to push the whole thing back.
