The Weeknd Taps Faye Wong’s 1993 Classic For Asia-Exclusive “Hong Kong”

The Weeknd brought Hong Kong’s pop history into his latest release, using Faye Wong’s original Cantonese vocals on a song now streaming across East and Southeast Asia. “Hong Kong” reached streaming services on October 31 after he introduced it at Kai Tak Stadium on October 24. That performance opened his four-night run in the city.
