Snoop Dogg Reimagines “Lodi Dodi” With Animated Visual Directed By Tristious

Long before a song could find a second life through an anime edit, Snoop Dogg was already showing how hip-hop could pass a story from one generation to the next. Now he has returned to “Lodi Dodi,” one of the standout songs from his 1993 debut Doggystyle, with a new animated video directed by Tristan Zammit, professionally known as Tristious. The visual arrived Thursday (November 5), bringing a familiar West Coast record into the colorful online world where many younger listeners are discovering it.
