Snoop Dogg Helps Phonixthecool Build A Catalog He Owns

Snoop Dogg taught Phonixthecool how to earn from music he owned while Death Row Records developed the Durban rapper, the artist said. In a new Sowetan interview, Phonixthecool described an arrangement that let him release songs on his own while work continued on his Death Row music. He said the goal was to keep an audience and build a catalog that could earn more once the label’s releases drew new listeners.
