Rick Ross Sued For Ditching North Carolina Concerts As Bad Week Gets Worse
Rick Ross is having the kind of week where everything that can go wrong does, and now a lawsuit’s making it exponentially worse. A tour organizer filed suit against the rapper this week, claiming he bailed on two North Carolina concerts in August and left them holding the bag for over $250,000 According to the complaint filed in Charlotte court, Omega14 Incorporated booked Ross for the final two stops of his “Port of Miami 20th Anniversary Orchestra Tour” in Greensboro and Charlotte, but he refused to perform and headed to Florida instead. The organizer says the contract was crystal clear: cancellations were only allowed for “severe injury or death.” Ross’s team didn’t claim either one.
