Outkast Marks 30 Years Of ATLiens With Community Soccer Partnership
Outkast is putting their money where their mouth is this week, turning the 30th anniversary of their classic album ATLiens into a full-on community investment in East Point, the Atlanta neighborhood where the duo’s legacy started. André 3000 and Big Boi partnered with MUNDIAL and Soccer in the Streets to create official ATLiens jerseys for youth soccer teams, with Big Boi personally showing up to an East Point scrimmage to hand-deliver the gear and connect with the young athletes. The limited-edition Outkast x MUNDIAL ATLiens jersey is dropping worldwide, and a portion of the proceeds goes straight back to Soccer in the Streets, the nonprofit that runs free soccer programs across metro Atlanta for underserved youth.
