Macklemore Gets Gaza Mural After Ed Sheeran Tour Removal

Macklemore has been immortalized on a concrete slab in Gaza City’s ruins, and the image tells the whole story of what’s happening right now. Two local artists, Anne Redwan and Qusai al-Helo, painted the rapper wrapped in a Palestinian flag, his fist raised high, and underneath it reads, “Thank you for using your voice for Palestine.” This isn’t just street art. It’s a direct response to what happened when British pop star Ed Sheeran’s tour became the center of a massive controversy that’s still unfolding.
