Lauren London Joins Snoop Dogg Biopic As Iconic Mother Beverly Tate

Lauren London is stepping into one of Hip-Hop’s most important family stories, taking on the role of Beverly Tate in Universal’s upcoming Snoop biopic, simply titled “Snoop.” The film follows the Long Beach legend’s rise from Calvin Broadus Jr. to becoming one of the biggest cultural icons of the 1990s and beyond. According to Deadline, Jonathan Daviss will portray Snoop himself while Myles Bullock takes on the role of Dr.
