Ice Cube just got immortalized in ceramic form at one of the country’s most prestigious art institutions, and it’s way more significant than just another sculpture sitting in a museum. The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond officially added “Roundel with Boy from the Hood” to its permanent collection, marking a major moment in which Hip-Hop culture is recognized as legitimate fine art. This isn’t some random piece either.
