Hernandez Govan Pleads Guilty & Faces Prison For Harassment After Young Dolph Aquittal
Hernandez Govan just took a guilty plea in federal court on the cyberstalking charges that landed him back behind bars less than a year after walking free from a murder trial. The Memphis man admitted to the federal harassment case on September 16, closing out what prosecutors say was a campaign of threats and intimidation that started in early June. According to court records, Govan sent threatening messages and voicemails to a woman, promised to have someone shoot up her house, and threatened to post explicit images of her online while claiming he was “bigger than the devil.” That last part is key because prosecutors used it to paint a picture of his mindset during the whole ordeal.
