EXCLUSIVE: Dearborn Mayor Sued Over Alleged Anti-Christian Bias After Macklemore Concert Invitation

Macklemore is at the center of a new federal civil-rights lawsuit against Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud after the mayor invited him to perform a free city-sponsored concert in Dearborn. The lawsuit accuses Hammoud and Dearborn of favoring Islam while discriminating against Christians and Jews, citing the Macklemore invitation as its newest example. Dearborn resident and journalist Margot Cleveland filed the complaint against Hammoud and the City of Dearborn.
