DJ Akademiks Calls Kendrick Lamar A “Mood Killer” Due To Drake & Playboi Carti Collab

DJ Akademiks has expressed some critical views when it comes to Kendrick Lamar and his lack of presence on the new AZ Chike album No Rest For The Wicked. While he understands K.Dot’s mystique and low-key nature, he connected this to an alleged Drake and Playboi Carti collab that was scrapped from the former’s MUSIC album, calling Kendrick a “mood killer” in the process. As caught by CY Chels on Twitter, Akademiks was reacting to the Mallory Bros’ discussion of Chike and Lamar.
