Aaliyah’s Final Days Revisited 25 Years After Her Death

The flight home from Aaliyah’s final music video shoot barely cleared the runway. On August 25, 2001, the Cessna 402B carrying the singer and eight others departed Marsh Harbour International Airport in the Bahamas, climbed to roughly 40 feet, and crashed near the end of the runway. Everyone aboard was killed.
